Being a Veteran is something I am extremely proud of. I followed my father’s footsteps and joined the Marine Corps and eventually became a Naval Officer. Leaving the military can be challenging for many. Not only do you have to learn how to reintegrate back into society many veterans have PTSD wish is not easily detected and causes additional complications in their lives and the lives of their family. This is why I work with advocacy groups that support veterans and their families. One of the Veteran organizations that do amazing work is the American Legion. I happen to be a member of Post 43 here in Hollywood California.
